Handcrafted Meranti Double Doors

This project highlights the craftsmanship of two sets of bespoke double doors made from stunning Meranti wood. Designed with both beauty and durability in mind, the doors feature a top panel with glass inserts, allowing light to flow through, and a solid wooden panel in the bottom half for a classic, balanced aesthetic.

Constructed using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, each joint is locked in place with a dowel peg wedged through the center, ensuring long-lasting strength and stability. The rich Meranti grain showcases a captivating blend of red, brown, and grey tones, bringing natural warmth and character to the design.

The doors are finished with elegant gold handles and 180-degree parliament hinges, allowing for a full range of motion and adding a touch of timeless sophistication to the overall look. These double doors combine practical functionality with refined craftsmanship, making them a striking addition to any space.
